Even if you are a hundred miles away from a forest, Cypress Essential oil makes a breath of fresh, woodsy air just a drop away. It has the relaxing effect of a long hike through the wilderness, and all you have to do is diffuse it. That said, we still recommend you walk through the wilderness… But to ease stress, help your body detox, and promote your general well-being, Cypress essential oil is a great choice.
Just as walking through a forest of cypress melts the stress away, cypress essential oil is great to help your body release toxins. It increases the frequency and volume of urination, promotes elimination through sweat, and promotes the general health of your liver. It also has a beneficial sedative effect on the mind, helping reducing stress and anxiety.
The essential oil of cypress is obtained through steam distillation of young twigs, stems and needles. The essential oil from these tall evergreens is thin and clear, and as fresh as the trees themselves.
